About Frank Rippl
Frank Rippl was hired as Organist and Choirmaster at All Saints in 1971. He served Sunday after Sunday preparing and presenting musical pieces to remind worshipers of God’s transcendence and imminence.
Frank was an inspirational force in the local music and arts community. He mentored and touched hundreds of lives with his passion and dedication to music as co-founder of the Appleton Boychoir, founder of the Appleton Lunchtime Organ Recital Series and a teacher in the Appleton School district. Frank served the community and was part of professional organizations including the Appleton Rotary, the Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, the Fox Valley Literacy Coalition, the Outagamie Museum and Outagamie County Historical Society, and the Fox Valley Memory Project. Frank died in 2018. You may read his obituary here. The members of the All Saints Choir determined to honor Frank's commitment to music and the community by working to raise funds to support a named endowment - a way that Frank's spirit of service can continue giving into the future. You are invited to give to fund the endowment to honor Frank. |
“I’m Frank Rippl, and I’m an organist.” So, begins this short YouTube video. This simple statement of fact captures the essence of who Frank is: educated and experienced, but not putting on airs; impacting the lives of tens of thousands of people, but not inflating his character. This is the Frank Rippl the All Saints choristers want to honor with a gift to impact the lives of people in a simple and direct way. |
