All Saints is devastated by the loss of Frank Rippl, our beloved organist/choirmaster for 46 years. Frank was the force behind All Saints' thriving music program, directing the choir with kindness and humor and making Sunday mornings joyful with his magnificent organ playing. He was very active in the local music community; he taught vocal music in elementary schools, co-founded the Appleton Boychoir, organized the annual Lunchtime Organ Recital program, and much, much more.
Frank's obituary can be read here, and a beautiful article published by the Appleton Post-Crescent is here.
A memorial service for Frank will be held on Tuesday, August 21 at 11am at All Saints. A reception and opportunity to share remembrances follows immediately in Shattuck Hall, Lawrence University Music & Drama Center (large rehearsal room behind Lawrence Memorial Chapel). Memorial donations may be made to All Saints, the Appleton Boychoir, or the Frank Rippl Music Scholar Endowment.
Please pray for Frank's wife Carol, his family, and all those who loved him.

Inspired by the song, silence and readings practiced at the ecumenical Christian community of Taizé, a place that seeks peace, justice and reconciliation between all people, our fall Taizé services have resumed.
The next service is on Sunday, September 23 at All Saints. A light meal will follow the service in the Palmer Room.
We will be having roughly two Taizé services each month, alternating between All Saints and the Lawrence University campus. The LU services will be held in the Lawrence Memorial Chapel or at Sabin House (corner of Alton & Meade Sts.) Dean Linda Morgan-Clement will be working with two student interns to develop the services.
Services will begin at 5:00 pm on the following dates:
Sunday, September 23 - All Saints (meal to follow)
Sunday, October 7 - LU Chapel
Sunday, October 28 - All Saints (meal to follow)
Sunday, November 11 - Sabin House on LU campus (meal to follow)
