Family Fun Nights: Join us TONIGHT from 5:30-7:30pm at All Saints for our second Family Fun Night—Parade & Ice Cream! We will gather at the Drew Street entrance (or Kemper Hall if rainy). If you can’t join us this time, there are two more opportunities to get in on the fun (see below). Questions? Contact Erin at [email protected]. August 7: Movie Night (Youth Room or Kemper Hall, depending on group size) August 21: End of Summer Party & Blessing of the Backpacks (North Lawn or Kemper Hall) Cool Drinks & Coloring: Join us during the Appleton Farmer’s Market! We’re in need of a couple of families and/or parishioners to help keep this outreach ministry running. The coloring & treats are usually set up from 9:00am-12:00pm (times are flexible depending on availability) on Saturday mornings. At this time, we’re hoping to have this continue through the rest of July & August, though we’re happy to extend into September if enough people are willing & able to help out. It’s a great way to greet people in our communities, and it’s a fairly simple way to talk with folks about All Saints. This is also a great way to talk about the upcoming revival in October with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry! If you’d like to help out, please CLICK HERE to contact Sarah Gilbert. Confirmation/Reception Classes: We will begin a three-month class for those seeking to be Confirmed or Received into the Episcopal Church the first week of August. There are options to join in-person or to do an independent study. Bishop Matt will Confirm and Receive participants during his annual visitation to All Saints on Sunday, Nov. 3. Please contact Erin Wolf by Sunday, Aug. 4 if interested. Participants must be turning 16 and older in the 2019-2020 school year to be eligible. Aug. 6: If you like roller coasters and spending the day with Episcopalians & friends, sign-up to spend the day at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL! Cost is $30/person, and there will be a bus leaving from the Shopko parking lot in Neenah (Winneconne exit on Hwy 41 by McDonald’s) at 7:00am.
